Kilonshele-kkb.com will be an avenue for me to share my thoughts of the world we live in through my eyes, the good, the bad, and the ugly. No topic is off limit!!!!!!
“Kilonshele” simply means “what’s happening” in my mother tongue- Yoruba. That is the objective of the blog; to simply share what’s happening as I continue my journey through life.
I would describe myself a guy on the middle path. People usually have two general descriptions for me “funny/joker/humorous” or “intellectual, serious, deep”. This may because:
And at the other end of the spectrum, I am a great fan of the works of Niccolò Machiavell, Wole Soyinka and Confucius
It took me 30 years to realise my passion for writing; all I need now is to find out how to make a living off my passion. .
My heroes are my mother and my father
Apart from my parents, my greatest influences are Nelson Mandela and Malcom X. They are revolutionaries, who I would love to emulate, but it’s the new millennium and this revolutionary’s got bills to pay…
I have dined with Kings and shared a plate with Paupers- in the eyes of God we are all equal.
Humility and Courage are two virtues that I value the most and constantly strive to attain.
I am on a quest for define my identity, understand the essence of spirituality and attain peace on the path to achieve freedom; so I am a student of History, Religion and Philosophy.
Two of my favourite quotes in the world are:
“Courage is the most important virtue a person could have, without courage one cannot practice any other virtue consistently”. Dr Maya Angelou
“If you always the smartest person in the room, you are in the wrong room”
Words can be the source of great joy and deep pain. With my words, I want to change the world for the better.
Let the journey begin……join me on my quest(s) and let’s have some fun on way…
